Playing with kids is always fantastic because they learn and have fun at the same time.
Who´s who? is a simple game. One kid stands up, and the rest of the class have to guess with yes/no questions, which is the child of the class that this kid is thinking about. For example: Is he a man?, Has she got curly hair?, Is she wearing black shoes?
It´s a very easy game to practice some grammar&vocabulary and speaking.
You can play all together or if you want to improve the participation, they also can play in small groups or in partners.
LEVEL: 4th, 5th and 6th Primary.
I hope you like it and you practice it.
Hello Silvia. She me has pleased your activities in general but especially her the one who is who. It seems to me that it is a good way of which the children are motivated simultaneously that learn the English speech. In addition they can work grammatical aspects as the interrogative phrase, and verbal times as the simple present or specific vocabulary. The children will lose of an enterteining form the coyness and the fear on having spoken in English. I think that they will feel sure since the structure of the question will be the same.
ResponderEliminarHi Silvia!!
ResponderEliminarI would like to say that this activity is very interesting. Based on a traditional game you have achieved that this activity is more than a game. Moreover than describe people ,also they use some questions to realize about which one could be. These kind of questions will become in tools for them in their real life . Congratulations !!
Maren.
Hello Silvia!
ResponderEliminarI love this activity because it can be used at any grade, increasing or decreasing the difficulty according to the level.
Students also makes you lose the fear to speak in English, and improve their listening.
